The Lone Tree Arts Center in conjunction with Starkey Theatrix will hold Equity auditions for A.R. Gurney’s “Sylvia” at the Lone Tree Arts Center, located at 10075 Commons Street, Lone Tree, CO 80124.

This production will be directed by Randal Mylar with stage management by Heidi Echtenkamp.

Colorado auditions are September 15th from 1:00PM-9:00PM and September 16th from 9:00AM-5:00PM, with callbacks on September 16th from 7:00-9:00PM. All auditions are by appointment only. Please email Ronni Gallup at ronni@starkeyproductions.com to schedule an appointment time.

Audition requirements: -Monologue (not to exceed 2 minutes) that is appropriate for the show.

-Current headshot and resume.

-Must present a current Equity ID card.

Casting will be for the following roles: -GREG Middle-aged professional New Yorker and new owner of Sylvia (a dog).

-KATE – Greg's stylish and intelligent wife, whose career is beginning to take off. Greg and Kate are empty nesters with children in college.

-TOM, PHYLLIS, LESLIE (played by the same actor) -- Tom (a man) is a fellow dog owner whom Greg meets at the park. Phyllis (a woman) is a college friend of Kate. Leslie (of unknown gender) is a counselor.

-The role of Sylvia has been cast.

There will be no understudies for this production.

Rehearsals will begin October 22nd, 2013 with production running November 7th-November 17th, 2014.
