FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE June 1, 2012
TUNES ON THE TERRACE TAKES OFF Two Sell-Outs and a Powerful Songstress Kick Off the Outdoor Concert Series at Lone Tree Arts Center LONE TREE, CO – On June 7, the Terrace Theater will see its grand opening concert at the Lone Tree Arts Center (LTAC). The Mary Louise Lee Band takes the stage at 6:30pm to showcase their fun combination of jazz, standards and popular tunes. This concert promises to be an upbeat and fun party to kick-off the Tunes on the Terrace series. A Denver native, Mary Louise Lee began performing at an early age. For close to 20 years, she has built an extraordinary professional performing career, touring nationally and internationally. Lead by this powerful songstress, the band members include Freddy Rodriguez, Jr. on keys, Thomas Jefferson on bass, Gino Diquinzio on sax, Darren Ross on drums, Amber Hudnall and Wil Alson as background vocalists. Tunes on the Terrace has also seen two concerts sell out quickly; both The Jerseys, a Frankie Valli Tribute Band, and the Colorado Symphony Boston Pops concert have sold out. In an effort to allow patrons to purchase series tickets for remaining Tunes on the Terrace concerts, LTAC has offered a new $80 package that substitutes the Colorado Symphony’s popular Inside the Score: Mozart for the two sold-out shows. The new package includes:
Thursday, June 7 at 6:30pm o Mary Louise Lee Band; Jazz, Standards & Popular Tunes
Sunday, June 24 at 6:30pm
o Elizabeth Trio & String Quartet; Classical
Wednesday, July 25 at 7:30pm in the LTAC Main Stage Theater o Colorado Symphony Inside the Score: Mozart

LTAC has quickly discovered its place as a new provider of arts education programs for children and an important meeting and event rental site for corporate, civic, private, and community arts groups. Tickets are available online at www.LoneTreeArtsCenter.org or by phone at 720-5091000, or at the box office in the lobby Monday-Friday from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm. ###
