PROTECT HB3 EDUCATION FUNDING
Take Action Now to Maintain HOUSE BILL 3 Education Funding!
[ LINK TO TAKE ACTION ]
Take action urging lawmakers to continue supporting HB3 for Texas public education! Three years ago, lawmakers responded decisively and passed House Bill 3, which put nearly all of the Texas Commission on Public School Finance report’s recommendations into action. The Texas business community was proud to support House Bill 3’s passage precisely because, rather than pouring money into a broken system, it relied on data-driven strategies proven to positively impact student achievement. These included full-day Pre-K, evidence-based literacy training for teachers, life-changing compensation increases for effective educators, and outcomes-based funding for college, career and military-readiness (CCMR).
