SCORE
DIGITAL DEVICES Analyzing the use of digital devices and its sensorial and behavioural implications over a 24 hour period; notably on focus and interference. Each bubble represents a digital task, and its distance from the center of the circle depends on the used device’s portability; SmartWatch being the smallest and most potable, to iPhone, to iPad, and Laptop being the furthest away from the center.
INSTRUMENT
INTERFERENCE GAME Using eye tracking to detect which video a user is watching on the screen. If the user chooses to focus on one video for more than 5 seconds, the bubbles invade their view, and clear the view once the user watches a different video. The inteference of the bubbles can be seen as constructive or destructive depending on the next video the user chooses to watch.

SYNOPSIS Using Theatre’s Dramatic Structure
ACT 1
Establish Programs for a given time are chosen and do not interfere with one another; building acts like a traditional multipurpose building.
ACT 2
Build (Broaden) Interference occurs via stagecraft; programs are no longer segregated, instead sensory data is used to integrate the given programs.
ACT 3
Resolve (Strengthen) Further similar and more extreme interference occurs to cluster users within smaller and more intimate spaces. Certain areas of building program and renewed.
ACT I: Foster
ACT 2: Interference
Once upon a time, the protagonist visits a community center with friends. They get settled in and spend quality time together, completing their task.
Suddenly, interference appears in the form of sound, smell, light and temperature. There is noise from behind the curtain, the lights dim, and a draft of cold air crashes over the protagonist, they decide to leave and investigate, following the sound.
ACT 3: Broaden The protagonist finds themselves in a new, unknown environment and must find their place. Surprisingly they find a new interest and even meet new people. In the distance, the faint sound of pulleys can be heard lifting and lowering furniture in the adjacent space.
