Life restarts in Spring, but what if you feel lost..?

Andy Roscoe, Acupuncturist and Director at Thame Therapy Clinic, offers his thoughts on life after Covid and the changes accompanying the onset of Spring.
Spring is here and change in the natural world gives us new opportunities. For a lot of us it is about picking up the pieces of life and trying to regain something that resembles normality before the pandemic. This is easier said than done. Covid cases are rising again and we can’t be sure if a runny nose is a cold or covid or just a bit of hayfever?! But this was probably always the case before covid… normality also meant some uncertainty. So how do we move forward with uncertainty around? Mostly we need to have some flexibility in navigating the way forward. We need to have at least one back-up plan. None of this is easy of course as the feelings of optimism in the air can soon be replaced by a rush of energy that creates a kind of giddy mayhem. Tired minds and bodies are flooded with a relentless imperative to get going but this can also be coupled with frustration, confusion or anxiety due to overwhelmed and not really knowing where we are or what direction we are going. It needn’t be like this. At Thame Therapy Clinic we have experienced practitioners who can help you find a way to move forward. It might be a counsellor, or psychotherapist or acupuncturist, or homeopath or body worker.
Give the clinic a call on 01844 215555 and speak to Andy or Kieren who will be able to advice on the best Therapist for you.
