It has turned to Manasian & Co to carry out the £140k brief, after a tender process.
Sheffield City Council released the following statement from Councillor Martin Smith, Chair of Economic Development and Skills Policy Committee at Sheffield City Council:
According to the brief, the council was seeking to engage with “a suitable third party to assist us with developing the Sheffield brand and a promotion campaign. “This will include: Development of the brand
Campaign propositions / jump off points 4. A visit (city breaks?) campaign.”
“This contract is about developing our current city brand with more focussed messages to our target audiences, rather than creating anything new. This will help drive the highest economic value for the city.
“The procurement process was transparent and met Sheffield City Council’s Standing Orders. Nine companies across the UK, who were identified as being able to deliver the project, were invited to bid, including Sheffield-based companies. Manasian & Co were awarded the contract after scoring the highest in the tender evaluation process and the Council looks forward to working with them.”
CLIMBING THE LADDER OF LIFE. WHEN YOU ARE YOUNG AND MAKE GOOD FRIENDS WHO STAY IN TOUCH THROUGH THE YEARS, YOUR LIFE WHEN YOUNG DOESN'T HAVE MANY FEARS. AS YOU AGE AND START TO HAVE ILL HEALTH, LIFE TAKES ON A DIFFERENT TURN. YOU START TO GET TIRED, YOUR BONES START TO HURT, IT MAKES YOU FEEL CONCERNED. THEN ONE BY ONE YOUR FRIENDS FADE AWAY, YOUR PARTNERS GONE. YOU'RE ON YOUR OWN, LIFE IS NOT THE SAME, YOU HAVE NOW CLIMBED THE LADDER OF LIFE. MARGARET EGGENTON
Dear Sir Recently I heard a news bulletin on the radio saying that Royal Mail may cut deliveries down to 3 days a week!
Many business people could be hard hit if it happened. Elderly people also rely on frequent deliveries to keep up to date with important mail. Birthday cards and gifts would be greatly disrupted Manasian & Co’s clients include Centrica as well to any cut backs..
