The University of Sheffield are joining in the fun and will be bringing along some amazing experiments for everyone to enjoy.
The local science ambassadors at the Inman Pavilion will of course be there too, opening the doors from 2pm until 4pm.
“2019 is the International Year of the Periodic Table, the chart used by chemists to list all known atoms,” says Beryl Sharp of the Science Club.
“Recently we secured funding to run this event from the Royal Society of Chemistry and hope as many people as possible will come along to enjoy the show.”
Expect plenty of colourful and amazing things at this event as you are shown around the wonders of chemistry.
There will be activities for both kids and adults to enjoy, show stopping chemical reactions and maybe a little liquid nitrogen to go around.
So why not visit the Inman Pavilion on Moorland Drive on Saturday November 2. The cost is only £1.50 per child for the full two hours. Adults go free and the refreshments are free too.
