Stocksbridge man loses an incredible 10 stone My reasoning for wanting to lose the weight was because I have four children and a partner and I wanted to be around forever for them, especially our 7 year old son who is autistic and has complex learning difficulties. I completely changed my diet and paid attention to my portion sizes. No alcohol, no chocolate, no crisps and definitely no fried food! I also had an excuse to get out and exercise as we had just got our new puppy, Boris, our black cockapoo and he needed walking.
Over this past year, it has been incredibly challenging having to live through lockdowns and restrictions. For many the lack of their usual regular leisure / sporting activities has seen
a few extra pounds gained around the waist. But not for one local dad-offour who has shed an incredible 10 stone over the past 6 months. Here’s his incredible inspiring story.
