The team at Fox Valley in north Sheffield are counting down to the centre’s big birthday weekend later this month, with an outdoor Food Fair and a packed line up of musical entertainment.

A great line up of food to go traders will join the centre as it celebrates the fifth anniversary of its launch in 2016. Popular traders include Project Doughnut, Yum Catering, The Great British Fudge Company and Sarah’s Sweet Treats.

For shoppers fancying something more savoury there will be traditional German Bratwursts as well as burgers, Wentworth Woodfired Pizzas and H&S Jacket Potatoes - the Yorkshire Crepe Co will also have a great range of both sweet and savoury traditional crepes.

Bradfield Brewery will also be part of the line up as will Riverside Spirits and Hawkins Distillery and shoppers will also be able to take home some fresh produce including cheese, eggs, and bread.

The centre team have also organised a line-up of musical entertainment from local performers including James Higgins Music, Graham, Lindley, and Hannah Rowe. On Saturday 12th June, the music gazebo line up will run from 12pm to 5pm and on Sunday 13th June from 12pm to 3pm.

The event will take place in the car park at Fox Valley close to where Home Bargains, Costa Coffee and Card Factory can be found with all covid secure measures in place.

Centre Manager at Fox Valley, Claire Reynolds, said: “It is great to see our stores all reopened now and our cafes and restaurants welcoming customers back inside. So, we are looking forward to this special birthday weekend and introducing our shoppers to some new traders for our Food Fair as well as welcoming some firm Fox Valley favourites.

"The weekend also marks our fifth birthday, and we would like to take the opportunity to thank all of our customers for supporting our businesses here at Fox Valley since the centre opened and of course particularly over the last year.”

The Food Fair will run from 10am-6pm on Saturday 12th June and from 10am-4pm on Sunday 13th June. Covid- 19 safety measures will be in place and are mandatory for all visitors to follow including a one-way system to move through the market area, hand sanitising stations on all stalls and contactless payment options wherever possible.
