What fences are for

What Fences are made for? A fence marks the line between your property and the outside world. Sometimes fences can be just for show, indicating to whomever it may concern that they may not cross this line without permission. Fences go up between neighbours and are usually a shared investment. A fence between one backyard and another does not mean that there is bad blood or ill will on your block. It is just a sign of mutual understanding and respect for property. However, the whitepicket fences of a tightly knit community are one thing, but the palisade fencing and chainmesh fencing of commercial, industrial, or educational institutions are built for a more straightforward purpose: to prevent trespassing. What kinds of institutions can benefit from palisade fencing? A palisade fence is composed of on array of pales held upright by a horizontal rail. The tips of the pales are usually pointed so as to prevent climbing. The material of the fence is usually steel due to the strength and durability that it provides. Since palisade fencing is designed to deter trespassing and is vandalism proof, it is commonly constructed around the property perimeter of industrial, commercial, and educational institutions. Anywhere that security is a prime obligation can benefit greatly from palisade. Intruders can neither climb nor bust through a steel palisade fence so whatever is on the inside can be kept safe from whatever is on the outside. What are some customizability options for palisade fencing? For one thing, the tips of the pales come in different shapes depending of the degree of safety the fence is designed to provide. For industrial properties, pointed or triple-pointed tips are a very unsafe bet for anyone trying to climb. However, even though adults working at an industrial site are unlikely to try to climb the fence for fun, the same cannot be said for any place that has a lot of playful kids running around. Therefore, for places such as elementary schools, palisade pale tips are often rounded so that when some rambunctious kid does try to climb the palisade, he or she is much less likely to get hurt. Besides the functional customizability of palisade, colour and finish is also an option. Palisade can be painted a variety of hues and can also be commissioned to come coated in powder-coat or galvanized to prevent wear from weather exposure. What are the benefits of chainmesh fencing? Chainmesh fences are a composed of a criss-cross of metal wire to form a kind of mesh. This mesh is held up by steel poles and a horizontal bar. It is used widely due to its cost-effectiveness to border such places as factories, sports fields, residential properties, schools, commercial properties, prisons, and roadways. Despite being a low cost way to fence a property, chainmesh fencing is incredibly durable. It can come galvanized, powder-finished, or PVC finished to keep the worst the weather has at bay. All in all, fences are for keeping intruders out and telling the world what is yours.
