Sheila talks how Tupperware helped her as a single mom I’ve been with Tupperware for 17 years, and for me, the most important thing as a single mom has been the flexibility. My thirteen-year-old son goes to a magnet school, and I can pick him up and work around his school hours. I make my own schedule, and I love that. But what I love most is that I get to encourage other women. When I was going through my divorce I felt like, as a woman, I failed at something. I questioned if I was worthy of talking to other women about the Opportunity. But then I decided I wanted to be the poster child of what success could look like. And that’s what I feel like I’ve done. I concentrated on my business, and was offered the opportunity to be a Business Leader as a single mom, which meant so much to me because it gives me the chance to really empower other women. Whether it’s divorce, or sickness—we all go through things. And I want to show women they can overcome their challenges. My mother was a single mother as well. She was my hero growing up. I grew up in an inner city, and my mother was so protective and really wanted me to finish my education, which I did. She
always encouraged me to take care of myself. She wanted better for me. And my mom loves her Tupperware products now, and my family is very proud of me as an entrepreneur. One of our favorites is the Smart MultiCooker. It helps families save money. Instead of fast food, they can have a healthy meal on the table in thirty minutes or less. It’s quick and easy.
