Dr. Cohen: The reality is that there are many patients that simply love Dermal Repair Cream but don’t find it to be moisturizing enough in the winter or when getting started with retinoids. What type of results are your patients seeing with regular use? Dr. Orlinsky: In our clinical case study, 100 percent of subjects showed improvement in dryness, and 67 percent of subjects showed improve ment in tactile roughness by week 8.

Dr. Simmons-O’Brien: We know in general that quality skincare prod ucts complement procedures by supporting and repairing skin health both before and after procedures. This product is meant to be used on intact skin and pairs nicely with any procedure designed to firm the body or improve skin tone on the body. At our practice (find us on Instagram @Ladydermdocs), the Dermal Repair Body Cream is ideal for our post-care regimen after a variety of procedures such as chemical peels, radiofrequen cy, Qwo cellulite injections, Accufit, Kybella, Derma V Intellitone, and 24-48 hours after Genius radiofre quency microneedling. How does skincare fit in with your practice philosophy?
One of my favorite ways to use it is with the Obagi Vitamin C/hydroquinone serum (Obagi-C Rx System) over night on dark patches after using the Cyspera earlier in the evening and then rinsing it off.
Dr. Downie: am recommending it be used on the face every other night for 15 minutes when patients start the product, because sometimes it is too strong to use every night. After about a month or two, allow them to use it for 15 minutes or more on the face. On the body, they can start using it for 30 minutes every night. I do combine it with some of the hydroquinones.
Dr. Orlinsky: Skincare is critical, mandatory, and non-negotiable with our practice philosophy! It is our first priority to ensure that patients achieve optimal skin health with and without procedures.
