Area D; IGETC Area 4C; C-ID COMM 150 This course explores the principles of intercultural communication through lecture, group, and writing assignments. Some of the issues covered include: the elements of a culture, intercultural competence as a learned skill, tolerance, norms, co-cultures, the role of language in communication, historical conflicts, and global social inequities.
