I am thrilled that you have picked up our booklet to learn more about Los Medanos College (LMC) and career pathways. We’ve developed streamlined coursework that can lead you into a career you love, and one that will set you up for a lifetime of higher earnings.
Our Career & Technical Education Division delivers courses that prepare students with the practical skills training, experience and professional knowledge to step into the job and quickly build a successful career.
LMC collaborates with employers and industry experts to design courses to give students the competitive edge they need to step into high-demand jobs and emerging jobs. Programs include short-term certificates, two-year degrees and transfer opportunities. LMC offers courses suitable for students who are new to college and for working professionals seeking career advancement.
At LMC, expert counselors will assist you with academic and career planning, financial aid and scholarships. Full-time students attend tuition free, though some course fees may apply.
LMC offers courses during the day and evening, online and in person at the Pittsburg Campus and Brentwood Center.
