About The College

Tuart College Tuart College was established in 1982 and has been providing second chance education for students aged over 16 in the northern suburbs ever since. We offer a wide variety of courses designed for mature students. Students may choose from Year 12 WACE Courses, Bridging/Certificates (Secondary upgrading) Courses designed for students wishing to improve their educational levels and go on to Year 12, TAFE or employment. We also offer short courses in Computing, Personal Development, Returning to Learning and Languages. Additionally there are courses for ESL students and those thinking of doing STAT. Students who miss the February enrolment may enrol for April Start, which will enable them to obtain an ATAR (Formally TER) for Tertiary Entrance. For students who wish to do Science and Engineering courses at Curtin, Tuart College runs the Curtin Enabling Course. The college has a pleasant garden campus with modern facilities. Students learn in a safe, caring adult environment. Classes are designed for students returning to learning who wish to be treated as adults. Prospective students for Year 12 and Flying Start programs enrol through the college Counsellor to ensure they select the best available program to suit their needs. Enrolments are in November , December and January for year-long courses. Our short courses, that continue to be recommended by past students, run for up to 10 weeks. Enrolments can be posted, faxed or done personally at the Student Services Office. Short courses commence in Autumn (February), Winter (June) or Spring (September). Prospective students are welcome to visit the college to view our pleasant campus and wonderful facilities.
