Brittany has a maritime climate. Winters are mild and rainy, summers cool and windy. In the east it’ s less rainy because it’ s slightly more continental. Rain falls in all months of the year. The average annual temperature in Brittany is 12°C and there is an average of 788 mm of rain per year. It is dry about 185 days a year.

The best time to visit Brittany is from April to September as these months on average have the least rainfall.

GETTING THERE - FROM BELGIUM

By car: Driving from Bruges to Brittany takes about 8h30, without stops and breaks. If you travel by car to Perros-Guirec where the hotel is located, you will have to pay toll 4 times. In total, the toll amounts to €26,10 for the outward journey. During school holidays, it can be very busy on the roads in France. It’ s mandatory to have a valid identity card and driving license.

By train: It’ s possible to travel from Brussels-South to Nantes. It’ s necessary to change trains in Marne-laVallée. The train journey takes 4h30. TGV offers a direct connection. It’ s mandatory to have a valid identity card.
