n this issue of School Spotlight, I had a chance to catch up with one of my longtime friends, coach Frank Daggs. I met him back in 2012 when I was at LSU, he was the running back coach for McDonogh 35 back then. Now he serves as the head coach for McDonogh 35 in New Orleans, La. Coach Daggs told me that he is excited about this coming season. He said that they are playing their first season since 2018 with a full team. Coach said that they will finally have a full offense and a full defense. He said he has some great kids. “They play hard but play smart.”

QB Santana Price is a class of 2024 prospect. Coach Daggs says, “I expect him to make good decisions and be a player for us. Last season was the first time he played High School ball.
