LOUISVILLE LOUISVILLE LADDER PLANKS AND STAGE
INSTRUCTIONS: STEP 1 Check that you have the proper endrail kit model for your width of stage. Kit model MER-01 fits 12” and 14” wide stages. Kit model MER-02 fits 20”, 24”and 28” wide stages. STEP 2 Attach (1) J-bracket ① to each end toeboard ② piece as shown in Figure 1 using (1) ¼ “-20 X ¾” long hex bolt ③ and (1) ¼ “-20 wing nut ④. Do not tighten wing nut at this time.
STEP 5 Hold endrails ⑦ between the two end guardrail posts to locate which U-bolt holes to use for mounting and insert the (2) 5/16” U-bolts around the guardrail posts and through the holes in the endrail and fasten with the (4) 5/16”-18 wing nuts as shown in Figure 2. STEP 6 RECHECK FASTENERS TO ENSURE ALL ARE TIGHT BEFORE USING.
STEP 3 Attach end toeboard and J-bracket assemblies to the guardrail posts ⑤ by loosening the wing nuts ④ on the U-bolt ⑥ holding the side toeboard. Then hook the J-bracket ① around the U-bolt as shown in Figure 2 and the retighten the wing nuts of the U-bolt. Repeat step with other end toeboard assembly to opposite guardrail post.
Figure 1 Figure 2 STEP 4 Nest the 2 end toeboards together and slide them outward against the side toeboards. Fasten the end toeboards ② together where the slots line up with (1) ¼ “-20 X ¾” long hex bolt ③ and (1) ¼ “-20 wing nut ④ and tighten. Finish tighten the wing nut holding the J-brackets on.
