This product is designed to be assembled with the hardware provided. 6) Make sure this kit fits your ladder. Repair or replace any damaged or missing parts before using the ladder. Use only Louisville Ladder repair or replacement parts. 1. Identify, on both of the top fly section rails, the prepierced holes highlighted in Fig. A-1. x1 2. Using a drill and a 5/16”drill bit, drill to enlarge the identified hole on the left rail, indicated in Fig. A-3. 3. Mount (1) H4 WIRE EYEBOLT in the hole just drilled x2 as shown in Fig A-3 using (1) H2 nut, and (2) H3 washers. Tighten steadily the eyebolt and nut using (1) 1/2” wrench and (1) blade screwdriver. 4. Mount the ADJUSTER on the right side rail hole identified in step 1 as shown in Fig A-3 using (1) H5 screw, (2) H7 washers and (1) H6 nut. Tighten steadily the screw and nut using (1) 7/16” wrench and (1) blade screwdriver. 5. Insert the SNAP HOOK into the WIRE EYEBOLT, as shown on Fig.A-2.

& B-2. Using a drill and a 5/16”drill bit, remove the left rail rivet, and remove the right rail rivet using a 1/4” drill bit as shown in Fig.B-3. Drill at the center of the head of each rivet. If even after drilling, it results difficult to remove the rivet, use a solid punch and a hammer to drive it out. Mount (1) H4 WIRE EYEBOLT in the hole just drilled as shown in Fig B-4 using (1) H2 nut, and (2) H3 washers. Tighten steadily the eyebolt and nut using (1) 1/2” wrench and (1) blade screwdriver. Mount the ADJUSTER on the right side rail hole identified in step 1 as shown in Fig B-4 using (1) H5 screw, (2) H7 washers and (1) H6 nut. Tighten steadily the screw and nut using (1) 7/16” wrench and (1) blade screwdriver. Insert the SNAP HOOK into the WIRE EYEBOLT, as shown on Fig. B-4.
