ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS SPREADER BRACE KIT PROCEDURE FOR REPLACING SPREADER BRACE FOR STEPLADDER Note: If ladder side rail is damaged in any way, do not try to repair, destroy the ladder.

FIGURE No.- 1 Using a 1/4” drill bit remove the rivets attaching the spreader brace to the ladder by drilling through the thickness of the rivet curl on the inside of the ladder rail
With the curl of the rivets removed gently tap rivets out by using 1/4” dia. punch
1.- Attach new spreader brace to ladder as shown in figure 3 2.- Be sure that the long side of the spreader brace is attached to the front rail 3.- Check ladder stability and operation before use
