the Pool Room!!

This is a fabulously quick DIY that will impress even the most fussiest gift wrapper!! These trinket boxes are perfect for little gifts, treats and stocking stuffers. Your little kids can help with this project, and even older kids can make use of these boxes with their gift giving.

What you will need: *A pack of paper cups *A pair of scissors, glue *Crafty stuff to decorate ~ washi tape, felt pens, stickers, pom poms, ribbon

1. Take one paper cup, and neatly cut off the rim of the cup. 2. Cut 8 even incisions around the cup, around 3cm deep. The easiest way to do that is to cut one incision at the top of the cup (12 o’clock), then one at the opposite end of the cup (6 o’clock). Follow that by an incision on the left side of the cup (9 o’clock), and then on the opposition right side of the cup (3 o’clock). Then make another incision in between each of the incisions you just made. You will end up with 8 incisions in total. 3. Neatly fold each of the flaps inward into the cup, so you have a crisp fold. Unfold. 4. Refold each flap, one after the other, until it starts to form a closure. Finish the last flap by tucking it in to the first flap. 5. Decorate your box with stickers, pom poms, washi tape, ribbons, or whatever takes your fancy!

This design is perfect for an Australian Themed Christmas Tree inspired by Gum Leaves, Gum Tree Blossoms and the Silver Dollar Eucalyptus Plant.

No: Gluten / Egg Contains: Dairy / Nuts *Variations: Can be made without Nuts Rocky Road is a Christmas favourite. This gorgeous wreath is not only a fantastic gift idea for teachers or friends, but also something special to put out on the table on Christmas morning for visitors (or you!) to nibble on. These are so easy that the kiddies can be involved in the creation and decoration. It's also variable - change the flavours to suit what you like! Ingredients 200g milk chocolate melts (*check for gluten, if avoiding) 50g slivered almonds 50g peanuts

50g mini marshmallows (*check for gluten, if avoiding) 40g shredded coconut

20 glace cherries 80g white chocolate melts 21 jaffa chocolates 12 spearmint leave lollies

You will need: *Ring baking tin (Note: using silicone makes removing the wreath a lot easier) *Serving plate *Piping bag or spoon Thermomixing Method: Place the milk chocolate (200g) in the bowl. Program 3 minutes / 60C / Speed 2. Allow to cool slightly. Add slivered almonds (50g), peanuts (50g), mini marshmallows (50g), shredded coconut (40g) and glace cherries (20) to the bowl. Reverse+Speed 3 until just combined. Pour mixture into the prepared ring tin and refrigerate until set. Turn the wreath out onto a serving plate. Place white chocolate (80g) into clean bowl. Program 3 minutes / 60C / Speed 2. Using a piping bag or a spoon, drizzle the white chocolate over the wreath. Use a little chocolate as glue and 'glue' on the jaffas and spearmint leaves to form holly.

Traditional Method: Place the milk chocolate (200g) in a microwave safe bowl. Cook on a medium heat for 1 minute. Remove and stir to help the melting process. Repeat in 30 second intervals until the chocolate is smooth. Be sure not to overcook it.
