Make an easy project such as a scarf, placemat or dishcloth. What is your background and what made you interested in needle felting?j
I am a longtime lover of folk crafts. My friend introduced me to needle felting five years ago and I became an avid "felter."
Is needle felting easy to learn?
Needle felting takes patience and practice, good instruction and a passion for creating.
What are some of your favorite needle felting projects?
My favorite piece is one I made of my dog, Scratch. He passed many years ago and my felted "Scratch" always makes me smile.

Food for Life: Nutrition and Cooking Camp
Poor diet and lack of exercise put today's children at greater risk for heart disease, diabetes and cancer later in life. A foundation for healthy eating is needed to lessen the risk for chronic diseases. The curriculum highlights the positives of the four food groups in the Power Plate.
