INVESTMENT What kind of bride are you? From fluff and lace to rock and roll… we’re just trying to get a feel for your style. Let’s start off with a consultation, at no cost to you. We’ll come to your home (or another location of your choice) and ask you a few brief questions. If you already have ideas, we’d love to hear them! Together, we’ll come up with a wedding package that’s right for you, at a price that you can afford. All of our packages are very comprehensive and provide thorough services for our clients. Full Planning From beginning to end we are there lending our support as your explore created ideas and start piecing together the wedding of your dreams. Every aspect of your wedding will contain your own personal touch, as we'll help you along the way. Partial Coordination Customized to fit your needs, this package allows you to acquire planning assistance after you have already started planning your wedding. We include all of the services of the full planning package and subtract/add options to modify it for your situation. Month-Of Coordination As the wedding approaches, the details become more important. We step in at 6 weeks out to make sure that no stone has been left unturned. And most importantly, we are there on the wedding day taking care of everything behind the scenes so that you can relax and enjoy the most important day of your life. Day-Of Coordination We are there on the day of your wedding taking care of everything behind the scenes so that you and your groom can have every chance to steal a kiss, savor a moment, or just dance the night away with family and friends. Consultations Consulting sessions are available at an hourly rate for clients and non-clients alike. Sessions may be used for budget development, floor plan layout, stationery assembly, RSVP management, menu recommendations, out-of-town guest management, venue research and recommendations, and more.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS I think I can plan the wedding myself, but a friend suggested I call a planner. Why should I use you? Hiring a planner is the smartest decision you will make (and I've never heard anything to the contrary). You will still be able to plan the wedding yourself-you are not losing control of your wedding. Our viewpoint is that this is your wedding, not ours. We want to incorporate everything that is important and special to you, but we want to help you avoid costly mistakes or worse, hire a vendor that is not reputable or the best fit for your day. Plus, you get the added benefit of having less stress and more time in your day to enjoy the things that really matter. My event site states that they already have an on-site coordinator, so why should I use you? At a wedding or any other big event, it’s important to have someone who can keep things on schedule. Even though many event spaces employ wonderful banquet managers, a planner you’ve hired personally will have a deeper understanding of what you want and what makes your event unique. A banquet manager is first and foremost the employee of the event space. We are an employee of yours. The venue that I'm getting married at told me I don't need a consultant. Why would they say this? As with all types of vendors, sometimes venues have had bad experiences with wedding planners. This is usually due to the planner not being professional or respectful of other vendors or the property. We pride ourselves on working as well with the vendors as we do with our clients. These are folks that we will be working with time and time again and we foster strong business relationships. What is wedding planning vs. coordination? Let’s say you want to throw a sweet sixteen party. You’d like to be involved with the major decisions but you ultimately know she loves hot air balloons, the color orange, and anything to do with Twilight. You’d contact a planner and they would help create your vision and bring your party to life based on their skills and your budget. As a wedding coordinator, our job is to help you stay organized in every aspect of planning your wedding. We can suggest fellow vendors whose services you are looking for. We can give you ideas or bits of inspiration to help guide you in the right direction . Prior to the wedding, we dive into every aspect of your wedding and prepare a (very) detailed document containing all of the events of your day. It has contact information, times, checklists, names, directions and more. When it comes to your wedding day (and rehearsal), we’re there working our tails off in the shadows; making sure every last bit of details that we have discussed is happening according to plan. When a situation does come up, I take care of it using my experience, resources, and knowledge of your wants and needs. The best part is you get to enjoy your day without worrying if x, y and z are being done.

I am just starting to plan an event or wedding and I only want certain services. Can I book a partial coordination package? Our partial coordination packages are intended for clients that have started planning on their own and have decided that they need guidance, professional advice, vendor referrals and less stress. At that point, we work with the plans that have already been made and fill in the blanks. Will you accompany us to as many vendor meetings as we want? For example, three florists until we find the right fit? When you book LovelyGirls Weddings & Events for full planning, we will accompany you to as many of your vendor meetings once the vendor is booked. However, we must remind you that the purpose of working with a planner is to gain insight into the industry and to save time and energy from exhaustive vendor research. We are professionals that have spent years experimenting with various vendors until we've found the best of the best. Time after time our brides tell us that our vendors are top notch and we proudly agree. We call them our "Dream Team." If you trust your wedding consultant, there will be no need to visit more than one or two vendors to find the right fit for you.

Can you get me discounts from vendors? The role of a coordinator is to give the client the event/wedding that they want and work within the parameters of the budget. We do not typically get discounts from vendors, but we know where to save money and how to best allocate the funds. You are paying a coordinator for their knowledge of the industry, their repertoire of quality vendors, their advice, support, and standards of excellence.

Are initial consultations free? Yes. Our initial consultations typically run between one and two hours long and are complimentary. However, if you are seeking just consulting, we do have sessions that are available at an hourly rate for clients and non-clients alike. Sessions may be used for budget development, floor plan layout, stationery assembly, RSVP management, menu recommendations, out-oftown guest management, venue research and recommendations, and more. How do you charge? For our partial, month-of and day-of coordination services we charge a flat rate. For full planning services we start at a base rate and adjust from there depending on the size, scope, and budget of the event and individual needs of the client. You also have the option of adding on additional services to any package. Upon signing of a contract, a 25% non-refundable deposit will be due.
