Last year we released our clever, compartmentalised lunch boxes and matching cooler bags, and they were a sell-out success. This year we’re expanding on our hero product range - bamboo dinnerware - with exciting new set designs and a cool suction cap to keep our bamboo bowls and plates from flying across the room. Love Mae’s beautiful, quality-driven collections always stay true to the core values that we hold dear, while continuing to innovate each season. Eco-Friendly We took that over-used tag and dug a little deeper... Since day dot, we’ve prided ourselves on our ethical brand values, with the sustainable, low-impact manufacturing principles to back it up. All of Love Mae’s products are either 100% biodegradable or readily recyclable, toxin-free and manufactured with the lightest planetary footprint possible. Suitable for: 4-6-month-olds Makes: Approximately 185ml or 12 ice cubes This is a healthier alternative to shop-bought baby rice or rice cereal (which is often associated with constipation when used to introduce bubs to solids), and it can be used for both sweet and savoury dishes. Brown rice is known to be allergen-free and is the perfect first food for babies as it is dense with natural nutrition and fibre.

INGREDIEN T S 180g brown rice 750ml of filtered water
PUMPKIN PUREE
M ET HOD
Suitable for: 4-6 month olds Makes: Approximately 185ml or 12 ice cubes
1. Place the rice and water in a medium saucepan, cover and bring to a boil over medium-high heat. Reduce heat so the liquid is simmering nicely and cook until the rice is tender through, checking once or twice to be sure it isn’t sticking.
Naturally sweet, pumpkin is something babies on a food discovery journey usually take to readily. It delivers a range of antioxidants and minerals, and may even help your baby relax and sleep better as it contains tryptophan to help the body produce sleep-inducing serotonin. Who doesn’t love a drowsy baby with a full tummy?
2. Remove the rice from the heat and let it cool slightly. Transfer to a food processor or food mill and puree, adding 1–2 tsp filtered water if necessary to obtain a puree that isn’t too thick. 3. When the rice puree has cooled, freeze it in ice-cube trays. When the cubes have frozen, store in airtight freezer-safe containers. The cubes will keep for about two months.

Why Bamboo? To put it simply…. We have chosen bamboo because we care about the planet and the little people it supports! But to get slightly more technical… Our bamboo dinner sets are made from the bi-product of the bamboo industry, the leftovers that no-one uses. This is then ground into a powder, mixed with a food-grade binding resin and then poured into a mould to set. Each of the bamboo pieces are then treated similarly to porcelain, where they are baked twice - the first time to shape the product, then again a second time when the decal is applied. The product is then sealed and finished. We love that no mining happens for our products, but we are especially proud that no harvesting of bamboo happens either… we are merely making use of what would otherwise be wasted. All of our Bamboo products are 100% biodegradable, so there is no chance of them ending up in landfill… or worse still, in the Pacific Ocean adding to the plastic island that is choking and killing reefs and wildlife. As beautiful as melamine can be, it can’t be recycled or broken down… ever. It also has the potential to have dangerous chemicals and substances that are added as ‘fillers’ Even simple choices can have you respecting our planet and nurturing your child’s future, so we’re here to help you make a good one. Do yourself, your child and your planet a favour and purchase planet-friendly and sustainable products. It’s important to us, and hopefully you, to think of the full production cycle of the products we make bamboo, from manufacturing to disposal, is the most gentle to our environment and our bodies of all the dinnerware products. 1 tablespoon extra-virgin olive oil 2 eggs, lightly beaten (whisk them in a bowl) 1 cup (85g) finely chopped broccoli (you’ll need about ½ head broccoli) 3 green onions (scallions), trimmed and chopped 1 tablespoon finely grated ginger 5 cups cooked brown rice (use 1¾ cups raw rice) 1 cup (120g) frozen peas 2 tablespoons soy sauce
M ETHO D 1. Place half the oil in a large non-stick frying pan over high heat. Add the egg and make a gentle swirly motion with the pan so it coats the

Add broccoli, onion and ginger and cook, stirring with a spatula, for 2 minutes or until the broccoli is bright green and a little soft (you’ll also smell the ginger in the air). To up the veggie factor, add finely chopped carrot and corn kernels. 4. Add cooked rice, peas and soy sauce to the pan and cook, stirring a few times, for a further 3-4 minutes or until the rice is steaming hot.
