A Glimpse at Student Life Today
My Dreams for the Future...
My dream is to become a civil engineer and, hopefully, to get a degree from one of my dream schools—Purdue or University of Illinois—to get there.
The Greatest Lesson I've Learned at Loyola...
No matter who you are, there will always be someone or something for you. No matter your background or personality, people will be there to support and encourage. That's what I think is the best part of our Jesuit education, the way everyone here depends on each other.
My most influential teacher...
Mr. Sean McQuinn (band) and Mrs. Elizabeth Waid-Prince (biology). Mr. McQuinn has always encouraged me to do more, whether it be joining more music-related clubs or taking up more responsibilities in our leadership positions. Mrs Waid-Prince gave me a true love for science. She is partly the reason why I wish to pursue a scientific field in engineering. Overall, thse two game me my absolute love for the arts and sciences, which I would be incomplete without.
