A remodel of Beverly Hills Neiman Marcus, the flagship location of the iconic department store. This project had to make a statement while working within A very economical budget. Using design tools like rhino, grasshopper and 3D printing, we were able to save design time & fee through the automation of repetition as well as reduce costs of fabrication by eliminating a majority of the redrawing/shop drawings by fabricator. 3D models were also used as dimensional reference to scale and replicate. Lastly, produced digital cut files used by the CNC machine to cut the panels and components for installation.

hilti intl. GENSLER| 75,000 GSF In the new Hilti North America Headquarters, the client’s top priority was celebrating the culmination of its people and products. Gensler was charged with designing a space that viscerally integrated Hilti’s products, drew top talent, and inspired employees. Not only was the entire office built exclusively with Hilti construction tools, modified Hilti products were woven into the architecture of the space. More than 26,000 products were used in the design and build of the space — all intended to generate and showcase a pride in the product and the people who design, create, and market each one.

bmw of grapevine GENSLER | GRAPEVINE, TX | 2017 Commissioned by Carl Sewell as his legacy project for his family of dealerships, this BMW dealership was designed to make a statement in both design and size as the largest BMW dealership in north america. designed for its utilitarianism of shading the glass jewel box exterior, the roof trellis was designed using solar analysis tool “Lady Bug for Grasshopper in Rhino. Using GPS and solar data to optimize the shading efficiency by positioning the fins at the precise angle and spacing, this analysis also aided in position of the overall trellis location and depth of fins to minimize material cost.
