It is with pride and excitement we would like to make you aware of our ‘Pride in Higher Aspirations’ programme for Pride Month 2021. neaco are helping raise aspirations towards Further and Higher Education (FE/HE) amongst LGBTQ+ youth across the East Anglia region. We have produced a range of pre-recorded chats, video clips, written case studies and quotes from LGBTQ+ individuals who are in, or have been in, FE/HE. We want young people to look at individuals who have obtained a career or job through FE/HE and see themselves, thinking ‘if they can thrive, so can I!’ .
This is a cross-county effort by neaco HECs, with support from the Norfolk LGBT Project, Future First and the Fifty Shades of Gender podcast and is accessible to all schools and students in the East Anglia region.
