BECK RESIDENCE
BECK HOUSE
Project Scope For 19 years, the Beck’s have been in love with their 120-year-old farmhouse located in Oregon, Wisconsin. With their lifestyle everchanging, they are beginning to outgrow their home. Location is everything when it comes to this property. They live close to town and have an incredible yard to house their 2 dogs, 6 cats, and 10 beloved chickens. Living close to town offers their 3 children plenty of opportunities to connect with the community. The 1,800 square foot home has had a couple of additions to the home prior to the couple moving in. The home’s footprint is a traditional, compartmentalized layout including a kitchen, formal dining room, office, and living room with 3 bedrooms upstairs. They are looking to expand while keeping the original character and integrity of the home to cater to their growing family.

CONSTRUCTION PLAN
BECK RESIDENCE Design Concept This 120-year-old home has a lot of charm that the clients would love to build upon. Using a neutral color scheme with accents of blues and greens will with a mixture of natural materials. We want to make some updates to the home to allow the family to live in their home more comfortably but still keeping the integrity of the charming home they fell in love with initially.
KITCHEN & BATH
NORDESS RESIDENCE Project Scope The Nordess family just moved into a 1998 ranch house. They were drawn to the house for its simple and design and location. Downsizing from their previous home, Toni and Gary are empty nesters with grandchildren who visit. Toni describes her style as farmhouse meets old world. She is open to various styles. Having not even lived in this home a year, they are looking forward to making some changes to the home to make it their own.

EXISTING KITCHEN PICTURES
NORDESS RESIDENCE Project Goals Remove railings surrounding the dining room table Design an efficient kitchen by relocating the refrigerator Add a pop of color to make the kitchen more inviting Create an open space while keeping the existing golden oak cabinetry to match the millwork throughout the home
NORDESS KITCHEN FLOORPLAN
NORDESS RESIDENCE Project Concept The inspiration was to bring more interest to the kitchen without making it feel like it does not match the rest of the house. This was done by keeping the existing cabinets around the perimeter and making the island a navy blue, a nod to a display of blue china in their kitchen. The island shape was changed from the angled snack bar to a rectangular shaped island for more space for activities with their grandchildren.
