Inside LSU Basketball presented by Communicty Coffee provides a behind-the-scenes look into the LSU basketball program. Each week LSU head coach Matt McMahon recaps the games and looks toward the next week’s contests. Inside LSU Basketball is syndicated weekly (see affiliates list) throughout the state of Louisiana and across the south on Bally Sports. Inside LSU Basketball debuts in December 2022 and runs through early March 2023.

Radio Network History

The LSU Sports Radio Network, a division of LSU Sports Properties, brings Tiger basketball to LSU fans and alumni around the world. With three 100,000-watt FM stations and two clear-signal 50,000 watt AM stations, LSU Fighting Tiger Basketball is distributed by satellite throughout the South. The LSU Sports Radio Network is anchored by flagship WDGL Eagle 98.1 FM in Baton Rouge.

The LSU Sports Radio Network is one of the most progressive college radio networks in the country, utilizing an in-house radio studio to originate more than 250 live broadcasts of LSU football, men’s and women’s basketball, baseball and softball annually.

Eagle 98.1 is also the home of football and baseball. WYPY Talk 107.3 FM serves as a flagship station for women’s basketball and softball.

In addition to live games, network programming includes a weekly live coaches’ shows for football, men’s and women’s basketball, and baseball.

The Matt McMahon Show

The Matt McMahon Show, a weekly one-hour radio program returns for the 2022-23 season. It is designed to give Tiger fans a chance to visit and hear from LSU Coach Matt McMahon.

The show will be hosted this season by the Voice of the Tigers, Chris Blair. The show will be broadcast again this year from T. J. Ribs on Acadian Thruway.

Fans have the opportunity to come out and watch the show. Listeners can send in their questions via Twitter to the broadcast table for use during the show.

The first show, with Coach McMahon, is Nov. 28 and runs primarily on either Mondays or Wednesdays through the remainder of the regular season with the exception of the week of Dec. 5 when there will be no show..

The Matt McMahon Radio Show is broadcast from T. J. Ribs on Acadian Thruway.

Former LSU Head Basketball Coach John Brady will join the Voice of the Tigers, Chris Blair, for their sixth year together on the broadcasts.
