We interviewed several old people in the nearest community. Asked them what was the recent annoying thing when they were at home, what did they feel and how did they do with those things.
After reorganized our questions together, we decided to let only one member go into one family's h o u s e a n d i n v es t i ga t e i n details,because of privacy r ea s o n s . I w e n t t o t h e house and found many issues.

STORYBOARD When user can not find the glasses, they will give off visual sign to help people get their position. And we also want to encourage people to put their glasses in a box that is located in the same position, so that they will not worry about forgetting them.
l Goal We noticed that most elders will fold their glasses after use. This action can be captured in our design.
So we are going to design a pair of interactive glasses, when people fold the glasses after use, there will be something interesting happening in order to encourage them to put the glasses in a special position, therefore,they will not bother to look for them.
DRAFT PROTOTYPE
We used PS material to make a pair of simple glasses, and used shoe box as the box of glasses. When user folds the glasses, the box will automatically open.
PROGRAMMING After learning to program by Max, this is the first attempt.
Distance sensor input Current input data As the distance sensor is located on the leg of glasses, it can detect distance between the leg and the frame. If the distance is large enough, the light on the box should be turned on.

IMPROVED PROTOTYPE
This time we put sensors on the draft prototype, tried to feel the design supported by techonology. When user fold the glasses, the box will qutomatically open, and a light on the box will be turned on.
FINAL DESIGN When users want to pick up the glasses, they can wave their hands in front of the box. Then box will open with shiny lights, and after taking out the glasses, the box will close automatically. When users stop using their glasses, they will fold their glasses. At the moment, the box will open again and close after the glasses are put in.

We came up with some kinds of interaction movements to interpret the emotion by using video sketches.
Then we combined the chosen movements with functions of the player.
Blow to start/stop the music.
Rotate to make volume up/down.
Pluck to change another song.
Brainstorm & Development
First, rotating reminded us of a scene of stirring water. So we decided to create a round product with wave on it. Users can rotate the leaf and also blow on the leaf to create a dreamy user-experience.
Next, we simplified the appearance of the product. To fit in the Philips family, we chose a round shape and a clear symbol of use. There was a controller to rotate,a hole to blow, and some little holes with lights to pluck.

These facilities are all made of metal and handle parts are made of plastic in order to prevent from rain, snow and other bad weathers, as well as make them usable for a long-time.
Blue, yellow and red are used. Usually supports are blue, moving parts are yellow, and red for decoration or parts people step or sit on.
Most facilities are building legs and arms,and there are also some facilities for abdominal muscle and waist. Facilities for neck and shoulders are the least.

White collar workers are the group urgently need more exercise. Elders use exercising facilities more frequently than others. Safety is the main focus of parents.
People in different fields have different focus on exercising facilities.

Most people are satisfied with the present material——metal, especially workers.
Most people prefer warm colors, and younger people also choose black and white as their favourite.
Most people prefer to build their muscles on legs, arms and waist. Exercising for shoulders and neck is also widely considered.
Goal Many white collar works have cervical problems, and they definitely need more exercise. But there are less exercising facilities that dealing with cervical issues. So we decided to design a set of facilities to help them and remind them to do some simple exercising on the neck and shoulders. We are also going to try to make users exercise in an efficient way.

You can start a running exercise at any time, even if you are walking back home with suit and tie.
Open NIKE + Running to search the nearest NIKE store.
After putting on suitable sports wear, you can immediately pay by scanning QR code, and your suit and bag will be kept in the store.
Then you can do some preparation activities under the direction of NIKE + COACH program in NIKE + running APP.
NIKE will also provide a sports pack
with a bottle of water, a first-aid packet,and some paper napkins.These will be in your waist pocket and you can hold your cellphone. As there is nothing left in your way to start jogging, you can see track projection under your step to encourage your exercising.
After going out of the stores, you can also enjoy NIKE store service. You can have a free drink in the nearst NIKE store, and if you are hurt during running,you can call for help by NIKE+ APPs. Our professional staff in the nearest NIKE store will come and help you.
Finally,you can choose going back to the store to take a shower and change back your clothes, then come back home with your sports wears.
Or you can continue running and inform NIKE store to deliver your clothes and bag to your address through NIKE + APP.

Modeling Features Traditional Chinese design philosophy: The dome-like heaven embraces the vast earth. Five traditional keys as Gong, Shang, Jue, Zhi, Yu. ( Equal to Do, Re, Mi, Sol, La) Five traditional Chinese colors as Qing, Huang, Chi, Bai, Hei. (Equal to cyan, yellow,red, white,black)
Material Features This design is inspired by the sound of knocking ceramics. As knocking bowls with chopsticks is impolite on table, this toy is going to allow children knock on it instead of bowls. Parents can also easily direct them to mind their manners. Because of the material's fragility, children are also be taught to be careful with their toys. The alternative set of keys are also provided in case of destruction.
