SUMMER THEATER CAMPS

Children in 3-8th grade are invited to join us for a memorable summer at our beautiful Old Town theater. Now in its 14th year, LTA is the premier Alexandria location for performing arts summer camps, featuring Acting; Musical Theater; Shakespeare; Improvisation; Playmaking; and a variety of specialty themed camps. Camps are full-day, mornings, afternoons and include an optional extended day program.

The Little Theatre of Alexandria’s (LTA) Governor for Membership is looking to fill the Chair position of the Diversity, Equity & Inclusion (DEI) Committee with a special emphasis on Inclusion.

The purpose of the Chair will be to support the LTA Board and uphold the theatre’s Mission and Vision Statements as well as the Code of Conduct. The role of the Chair will be to:

• Create your own Committee.

• Develop Cultural Programs throughout the year.

• Expand theatre awareness among our diverse communities by promoting productions and recruiting for auditions.

• Make recommendations to the LTA leadership on inclusiveness and implementing strategies at all levels of the theatre.

The DEI Chair must have a positive attitude and is passionate about DEI in the theatre community. You will receive satisfaction knowing you filled an essential role in building a strong, diverse, and culturally aware volunteer base. You will receive lots of support, recognition, and appreciation. Volunteering at LTA is a privilege and volunteering here will change your life.
