The research station in the dessert of Pampas La Joya is a training, research and teaching center in various
subjects related to space exploration and survival of human crews on Mars or desert areas unexplored. This construction is intended to simulate a future season to live and work as if they were on the planet Mars. In that station we will develop in detail the greenhouse which is the main room of the station, being the only source of
oxygen and organic food for human consumption.

This station would become part of the international program called Mars Analog Research Station Program supported by The Mars Society Peru of which I am a member. This project first describes the importance of similar stations in the world, the design, construction using emerging
technologies in the desert area of Arequipa, Peru. Formally, the project is proposed for the design of analog base in the desert of Pampas la Joya, however the current project presents a redefinition of the scheme for habitats outside the planet.
M A R S A N A L O G S TAT I O N , A R E Q U I PA , P E R U THE MARS SOCIETY PERU The previous designs Habitats on Mars or in space have focused on domes covered by a layer of regolith, which provides dark and claustrophobic spaces with potentially disastrous for the motivation of the crew and mental health consequences. The proposal Analog Base redefine this type, innovating structure facade making it a translucent spiral having as concept shell snails that allows them to protect against desiccation and at the same time this form is driven by a humanistic approach with comfort crew and welfare as key factors in the design.
A key factor in the design of the facade is Structure ETFE, a type of thermoplastic polymer of high resistance to heat, corrosion and UV, having a thickness of eight per thousand of an inch in total. This structure contains the water inside.

P R O P O S A L F O R B I O C L I M AT I C A R C H I T E C T U R E CONVENTION CENTER AND EXHIBITION OF LIMA LUCIANA TENORIO AND ANGELA GUTIERREZ Part of taking advantage of this project is to maximize the space, so that in some way the general public can participate in the project permanently, either on a square or on the extension of the square in volumes. Concluding that the character of the Convention and Trade of Lima calls be located in an integrated with a large park or plaza space, something lacking in open spaces in our city. The design criteria that you want to give to our project is the relationship with the environment where it will be located and designed open spaces.
Bioclimatic architecture plays an important role in the project, because it is dedicated to the study and design of elements and / or conditions for maximum comfort inside the building; with minimum energy expenditure, using and optimizing natural resources. To do this takes advantage of the climatic conditions of their environment and generally the use of renewable resources like sun, wind, and vegetation not producing any pollution. 1era pIanta NPT -1.00 y 0.00

The project is located in Torre Valentina, Catalonia. Surrounded by a superb pine green setting up the environment along with the sea and sky. Set of six residential blocks, with a total of 78 homes. The housing complex is embedded in the topography of staggered both horizontally and in height, this allows users to enjoy sea views, while buildings maintain the greatest possible independence between neighbors. The horizontal movement is organized through pedestrian streets in the middle of the two rows of houses. From east to west two nuclei of stairs work as linking axes staggered housing, cross streets and the beach, working in turn as lookouts. The property is developed between two walls in a 3.5m it creaked causing houses with 6 meters deep in housing front row, while the back reach the 8 meters. With three different types of apartments from one bedroom and one bathroom, to another two with bath, patio, terrace, living room and kitchen. Behind the apartments is a horizontal row with parking lots, various services and recreational area, which can serve as shops or kiosks, which open onto the pedestrian street.

Unit 8 was taught by Tom Svilans, Greg Storrar and Dave Reeves. Unit 8 explored the world of digital modelling and immersive technology. Ideas of virtual
reality as a creative and critical medium were introduced as a way to expose and spatialize hidden phenomena in the city of London. Students looked for conditions of eccentricity or immaterial phenomena through individual explorations of the city - sites of change, invisible energies, paths of motion, qualities of space. These became the seeds of their invented
"False Cities" which sought to embody and clarify these ideas, and which were experienced and explored through the electronic eyes of VR headsets. Above all, the Unit was concerned with questioning the role of virtual reality for designers today, as an active and speculative tool, and how it could be deployed in new, surprising, and productive ways.

“Fab City: Designing Products and Services for Urban Resilience through Manufacturing” Summer School regards the theme of urban resilience through distributed manufacturing in Fab Cities. curated by: Luisa Collina, Stefano Maffei and Tomas Diez Politecnico di Milano
Design Now is a programme of collective open designing activities that focus on concrete experimentation in one of the main themes of the XXI Triennale: “21st Century: Design after Design”. This theme is the mutation generated by technological advance and social change in the processes and know-how applied to the ideation and production of contemporary artefacts. In particular, the advent of distributed production has modified the familiar roles and approaches practised and taught in recent design history.

PROTOTYPE Motivate people to adopt more responsible approach to energy consumption and start to question the energy distribution system. Cut the energy bill while helping others - city housekeepers are paired with poor families, which benefit from reducing energy consumption.
SAVE AND HELP NativaN empowers people to use energy in a responsible way, through redusing the energy Consumption and “adopting” A poor family – connecting each customer with A family in a low income country. For redusing consumption customer gets “points” for reaching goals. When they reach certain amount of points, fablab provides the adopted family with a product, improving their everyday life. This process relies on the financial support of big brands, who want to improve their public image, helping people around the world.

INNOVATOR UNDER 35 YEARS UV INSULATING STRUCTURE FOR THE GREENHOUSE
MIT Technology Review TR35 Award UV insulating structure for the Greenhouse Utah MDRS Station 2015 http://www.archdaily.pe/pe/628134/arquitecta-peruana-desarrolla- cubierta-para- rayosuven-estacion-de-la-nasa-en-utah
The project consists on a modular structure of aluminum or fiberglass, which is formed based on the basic geometry of the icosahedron, a specialized fabric coated with the ability to retain 99.7% of ultraviolet rays and the greenhouse effect. All this forms the second skin placed in the greenhouse of the analog station belonging to Mars The Mars Society, in the desert of Utah, United States. The structure is light for its
lightweight materials, is easy to assemble between one or two people. They snap parts are made of aluminum and to reduce manufacturing costs.
MIT Technology Review TR35 Award UV insulating structure for the Greenhouse Utah MDRS Station 2015 http://www.innovatorsunder35.com/innovator/luciana-tenorio
Currently in the greenhouse of The Mars Society in the Utah desert, the greenhouse effect through the skin of polycarbonate (real greenhouse cover) .And the plants die burned by the strong current is generated. Because the greenhouse on Mars will be the main source of life of the first inhabitants of Mars, and due to strong ultraviolet rays on the red planet, I considered a fabric / filter 100% UV, also fabric was developed jointly SOMBRASANA with manufacturers to develop a polyester cotton fibers and algae that retains 99.7% UV. This fabric has been developed into a skeleton of aluminum to keep consistency (icosahedron). This little haven of harmful UV rays arose from the need of shade during the days of intense solar radiation on Mars and avoid permanent damage to food produced inside the greenhouse.

MARSHA is one of many NASA-endorsed technical proposals for a 3D printed habitat. It is a first-principles rethinking of what a Martian habitat could be—not another low-lying dome or confined, half-buried structure but a bright, multi-level, corridor-free home that stands upright on the surface. Apart from the groundbreaking design, AI SpaceFactory formulated a super strong “Martian polymer” that can be made from materials found or grown on Mars, thus eliminating the dependency on rockets to transport materials from Earth. I spent a couple of weeks working in Boston Autodesk Space facility, on the Marsha project one of NASA 3D Printed Habitat Challenge for building on Mars. The competition asks teams to design and build a habitat for a crew of four astronauts on a mission to Mars using structural principles and construction techniques enabled by 3D printing technology.

With humanity at the cusp of interplanetary civilization, we are actively building the technologies, tools, and human experiences of our sci-fi space future. With astronauts and innovation engineers from space agencies around our home world, and the authors and artists seeding our imagination of other worlds! Together with the "Marsha" team we presented at MIT Space Week. MARSHA is one of many NASA-endorsed technical proposals for a 3D printed habitat. Using our material and construction methods, we brought one of the physical construction portion of the NASA 3D Printed Habitat Challenge to present it at MIT.

A Room for Communication 120 HOURS - INTERNATIONAL ARCHITECTURE STUDENT COMPETITION ALEXANDER MLADENOV GIORGIA BARALE LUCIANA TENORIO Can you imagine a world without digital communication? Communication has evolved throughout the time, from body language to online messages. The dominant method to interact these days is through technology. We have expanded our range of communicating, but have we forgotten the physicality? - Task - You are challenged to design an ideal room for communication. A physical space in a world where interactions have become intangible. Through your design, you are expressing how architecture can initiate communication. Your are free to choose how small, how large, how tall, or how low your room can be. Keep in mind, it should be bigger than an elevator and smaller than a football field.

SMART DOME Pavillion Rafael Gonçalves Luciana Tenorio Human beings, despite their relatively small scale, vigorously wish to expand themselves towards omniscience. Usually by means of information sharing, one can expand himself by creating and spreading data: that’s hos a book author survives even after his death. The pavilion invites people to leave a small piece of data that can be easily shared but not created: the birth place. Therefore to an extent one expands himself, not his opinions, neither his preferences or memories. By using a smartphone app the visitor can send his data to internet that finally replies back to the pavilion in real time. We imagine the pavilion responding to information of many visitors, a collective response capable of triggering colorful projections that intense as data becomes more diverse.
