What is The Eliminate Project? The Eliminate Project is an international project by Kiwanis and UNICEF to eliminate Maternal and Neonatal Tetanus from the world by the year 2015. To do this, we must raise $110 million dollars. Every 9 minutes, a child dies of MNT. To eliminate this disease, we need help from everybody! Each mother needs a series of 3 vaccinations, which total up to $1.80. That's how much it costs to not only save one mother's life, but also the lives of all her children: $1.80. This project reaches the poorest, most neglected mothers and babies in the entire world.
