Welcome to the world of coodo There are three “O” in coodo. Like no other letter in the alphabet, it stands for amazement and for positivity, like a smiley that connects people all over the world. But there is also a sense of wonder in the “oh“! A wonder about the extraordinary, nature, the new, the heart-warming, the beautiful, about what makes people happy: the magic of the moment, in which we discover possibilities, in which we can let go of the old to start anew, in which we meet people who inspire us and who help us to grow and do what gives life meaning. coodo sun edition coodo sun like coodo earth are mainly produced at our production Scandi Byg in Denmark near Aalborg according to the regulations for Germany and Scandinavia. If we have the specifications of your country (ask your licensee). The coodo sun is available in module size 24, and several modules can be connected so that the coodo can grow to 48 and 72 square meters. It is also possible to upgrade it with a pergola: length 7.40 m /width 2.45 – 3.40 m / height 3.20m. Thus, the interior space is once again expanded by an attractive outdoor area. coodo moon edition moon is the mother of all coodos. moon is the first coodo that landed on earth to delight with its spacey shape and bright white. It can come with a beautiful pergola, length 10.50m/ width 2.45 – 3.40 m/height 3.20 m, which extends the living space with a shaded outdoor area. The moon planets from Germany are made of wood in the inner core. Their facade is made of an extremely light, patented composite material to reduce the weight of the coodo. Wires for power supply run through the resulting hollow space. Thanks to the process used, the outer shell of the coodo moon “Made in Germany” is so strong that even a second and third coodo can fit on top—or a roof terrace. The grounded coodo can withstand this structurally.

The composite material of the façade allows for maximum heat and sound insulation and also ensures durability. The wall cladding is double planked and is made with sheetrock/gypsum board/ OSB (against moisture). The special facade construction—an innovation from our production Spacefounder in Coburg—enables positive energetic values and is tested by qualified institutes. Moreover, this composite product can be 60% recycled. The floor has electric underfloor heating, above it is a laminate or other design covering (CV coating). Like the roof, the floor is also insulated On the insulation layer there is 25 mm OSB. The coodo front is equipped with durable double or triple glazed aluminum frame windows and doors, depending on the place of delivery. The smallest moon modul is 32 sqm, it can grow to 64 sqm and 96 sqm by adding more modules. The square meter price for all coodos is about 2300€, exact prices on request.

coodo earth edition The façade of our coodo earth, like that of its sister planet sun, is made of Douglas fir wood, which our production Scandi Byg in Denmark sources from sustainably managed suppliers. Ten Steps to the How to get your coodo to your Sky private garden

Building authority

Contact your local building authority and tell them about your plan to erect a coodo, e.g. in your garden. During the preliminary building application (step 1), the building office can give you a first general answer if and how your project can be realized. In this case you will need some pictures of the coodo and a general project description. If the response is positive, the building office will give you more information about the exact plans and drawings you need to submit in step 2 to get an official building permit.

Architect

Choose a local architect who will properly design your coodo according to the requirements of the local building office. Your architect can also be the contact person who will be in direct contact with your building authority during the process.

Land

Plan your land right. The local architect will plan where exactly the coodo will be placed and how the coodo will be connected to water/sewer, electricity and heating. Your licensee will provide you with installation instructions.

Foundation

coodo does not want to damage nature and wants to remain mobile. For this reason, LTG recommends a screw foundation instead of a conventional foundation. They function like a concrete base, only better. A modern and cost-effective solution for your coodo project.

Financing

There are various financing options depending on the region, do contact your licensee for more information.

Building permit

Get the official building permit. Now it‘s time to send the required information to the local building authority and wait for the official building permit.

Order

Crane

Once you have received the building permit, your order can be placed. The sales contract will be signed between the licensee and the client. The contract also includes the production time and delivery date. coodos are manufactured in serial production. The production time depends on your specific order and the model. Production takes approximately between 3 to 5 months.

Transport

Now it is time to plan the transport from the production site to your site. Your licensee can assist in organising transportation. The transport companies will plan the best route and time for the delivery of your coodo.

On the day of delivery, a crane must be available on the site to lift the coodo from the transporter onto the foundation. Your licensee will provide you with the specification of the crane model in advance so that your on-site architect can organize the crane to be available on the site in time.

Assembly

After your coodo has been placed on the foundation, assembly can begin and your coodo can be connected. Your licensee may provide assembly services for your coodo.

To which countries will the coodo be delivered? As we have production facilities in Germany, Denmark, Ajman and the USA, we can deliver coodos almost worldwide. Do I need a building permit for a coodo? Generally for almost every kind of building project you need at least a simple building permit. For questions about your project’s permit requirements, it’s best to contact your local building department. There you must first submit a preliminary building application. A picture of the product and a short project description are usually sufficient for this. If there is a “green light” for your project, you can submit the official building application. It is no problem to fit sun protection solutions outside and also inside. The coodo sun also offers an integrated pergola with extended sun protection. Is there a coodo guarantee?

Is it possible to order a living version with complete furnishings? You can choose between a number of furnishing packages to completely furnish your own personal coodo. Your licensee will be able to provide more information.

The standard warranty is five years on fixed parts and two years on moving part. Do contact your licensee for region-specific warranties. What documentation do I receive with my coodo?

How is the coodo heated? This is dependent on the production. Please contact your licensee for more information on the heating and cooling systems of coodos in your region.
