The Soundhouse Collection is an extensive accumulation of official Iron Maiden memorabilia. Amassed over a decade, it is stored and displayed in a 3000 square foot gallery located in Canada and is dedicated strictly to authentic Iron Maiden collectibles. The Collection is displayed in chronological order in a museum-like atmosphere. The walls form a pilgrimage that follows the band through the years by way of photos, vinyl, posters, magazine covers and every other type of memorabilia imaginable. The Soundhouse Collection has by far the largest number of legitimate Iron Maiden items on the planet.
The Soundhouse Collection Website and Facebook page are vehicles which enhance the Iron Maiden fans’ journey by keeping the Maiden brand pure and stopping the sale and distribution of bootleg items. The Website is the ultimate reference guide to authentic memorabilia whilst the Facebook page allows fans to chat live with the collector himself, and be given guidance and support on the quest to collect legitimate, authentic Maiden items. The Soundhouse Collection Website and Facebook page bring the collection to life. Both media include over 30,000 watermarked photos with a zoomable user interface and detailed description for each item. Like the Canadian gallery of displayed memorablia, the Website and Facebook page are in sequential order, taking the viewer from dark, dingy pubs of East London of the late ’70s to the sold out football stadia of today. Every year is broken down into folders with a comprehensive history of the band at that time, complete with tour dates and set lists. Each folder is in historical order as well, month by month, with release dates for all albums and singles with detailed descriptions for each. Both carefully crafted, user-friendly media were created with the fan and collector in mind, and are kept current with new items added on a regular basis.
