INTRODUCTION These guidelines specify the visual and linguistic elements that represent the Bug Lite corporate identity. This includes the brand name, logo, and elements such as color palette, typography, and graphic design. Communicating a consistent message of the brand identity is essential in presenting a distinct and unified representation of the company.
These guidelines reflect Bug Lite’s commitment to quality, consistency, and style. The Bug Lite brand, including the logo, name, color palette, and identifying elements, are valuable brand assets. Each member of the commercialization, production, and distribution process is responsible for preserving the brand interest by deterring unauthorized or inaccurate application of the Bug Lite brand and identity.

THE FULL LOGOTYPE The Bug-Lite corporate logo contains two elements: the logo symbol and typography. The logo symbol is a minimal and literal image evoking a friendlier and favorable appeal to the sago palm weevil as opposed to the natural entomological appearance of the insect. This concept connects the value of alternative and healthy food sources and shifting the perception of insects from undesirable to a food source worth trying.

It has a particular relationship with the Bug-Lite name. The Logo Type has been carefully chosen for its modern and yet refined, highly legible style, which has been further enhanced by the use of upper case letters. The typeface is Montserrat Bold and has also been chosen to compliment and balance perfectly with the logo symbol. The corporate logo is exhibited through the use of color, shape, and form. The two corporate colors are yellow and grey. It is a fresh and appealing blend of colors chosen for their strong combination - modern - classic - timeless. The colors have been selected according to international standards as shown below and are easily implemented.
