Montessori Elementery School 2016/Spring
As an educational building designed for children from 7 to 13. Activities of the users of the school, and the relationship between school and local community is extremely important here. Also, Montessori Education Method is used as a guideline for the design of classrooms.
In this drawing, classrooms and communal space are organically mixed. Classrooms works as small home unit with its own toilet and kitchen, while the corridor could be consider as a "street" for children to gather together and have various activities.
Montessori Education Method This particular educational system focus on the freedom of the student. Classrooms and learning spaces are normally deformed, school time is free scheduled and students are studying as their well. Barriers between ages are breached, children from different grades could help each other. All of these enhance the sense of individuality and self-determination.
