Situation • Patient desires: replacement of lost dorsal teeth in the upper jaw • Diagnosis: – – – –
Loss of teeth 16 17 and 26 27 Narrow upper jaw, frontal open bite Traumatic occlusion In multidisciplinary consultation it was advised to perform TPD and orthodontic treatment – This was refused by the patient • NoTPD • Patient desires only dorsal occlusal therapy • Patient has no problem with frontal open bite present for all her life
