Prefinish Let us handle the early challenges of a crop while you save money, time and space and turn your greenhouse faster! Grown right, in proven media, with proper nutrition and treatments, our spring prefinished program will put you on the fast track toward a successful spring. Our goal is to make this program as easy as possible for our customers; therefore, all sizes and varieties are approximately four to six weeks from finish, depending on pot size, growing conditions and desired finished size. We offer four different shipping weeks, typically starting in mid-March and running every two weeks, closing out near the end of April. You will receive a complete set of crop notes with every shipment, detailing how your crop has been handled and what chemical treatments have already been applied to your plants. All of our Prefinished spring sales must go through the broker network. Contact your favorite broker today for a full list of varieties offered and ordering information. #4.5 Pots The #4.5 pot in the Lucas Greenhouse Spring Prefinished Program is offered in a wide range of plants including many plants out of the Proven Winners and GoldFisch lines, ornamental grasses, ipomea, hiemalis begonias, double impatiens, zonal geraniums and more. These #4.5 pots come in cases of 12. All of the #4.5 pots are green except for the #4.5 waves, which come in pink pots, and the #4.5 hiemalis begonias, euphorbia, cannas, sedum and gerberas, which come in terracotta.

#8 Terra Pots The #8 Terra Pot offers many varieties of argyranthemum, calibrachoa, dahlia, lantana, petunia, verbena and many more. Both monoculture combinations and many of our regular combinations are offered. All of the #8 Terra Pots come in a sandstone colored terra pot, containing 3 plants per pot.

#8 Hanging Baskets Tuberous begonias, double impatiens, ivy geraniums, and New Guinea impatiens can all be found in our #8 Hanging Baskets. Each basket contains 3 plants per pot.
#10 Hanging Baskets There are many varieties to choose from in the #10 Hanging Baskets, including bacopa, calibrachoa, geraniums, hiemalis begonias, petunias, scaveola, verbena, and many more. Monoculture combinations are also offered. These pots are a great option because they offer good soil volume for your customer. Each basket contains 3 to 4 plants per pot, depending on plant type.

Lucas Greenhouses features 30 different premium combinations to choose from in our #12 Terra Pot, #14 Terra Pot, #12 Hanging Basket, and #14 Coco Basket. We are excited to now be offering most of our 30 combinations in #8 Terra Pots. Chosen for their superior beauty, heat tolerance, and uniformity, these combinations have been created with only the best genetics, featuring Proven Winners and GoldFisch varieties. We grow the same combinations in all 4 pot sizes to make it easier for you to give your customers a unified look. For ease of ordering, we provide you with photos of all 30 combo’s in their finished state on our website. Our combos are subject to change based on plant availability. In addition to the combos, we also offer monoculture dahlias, gerberas, and zonal geraniums in the #12 Terra Pot.

Prefinished Poinsettias Shipping out typically near the end of September, our prefinished poinsettia program is another great way for you to cut costs and reduce headaches. All the main sizes are offered in this program, including #4.5, #6.5 #7.5 #8.5, #10 pots, and #10 hanging baskets. Our prefinished poinsettias come with Safari pre-applied for whitefly control. A complete set of crop notes will accompany the delivery so you know exactly where your product stands. All #6.5, #7.5 #8.5 and #10 poinsettias come with plant support rings to help avoid stem breakage issues.

A. All Spring Prefinished and Poinsettia Prefinished orders must be placed through the broker network. Contact your favorite broker today for pricing and to place your order.
Q. How advanced will my Spring Prefinished plants be when I receive them?
A. All Spring Prefinished sizes and varieties are approximately 4 to 6 weeks from finish depending on pot size, growing conditions and desired finished size.

Q. When should I have my Prefinished orders in to my broker?
A. The earlier you can place your order, the better we can help ensure the availability of what you want, when you want it. We suggest that Spring Prefinished orders reach us by early October and Prefinished Poinsettia orders reach us by late February to guarantee availability. Please also consider that your broker will need time to process the order before sending it to us as well. Check with your broker for more specific ordering dates.

A. The Lucas Greenhouse shipping team works hard to accommodate your delivery requests and needs. With our ever growing fleet of tractor trailers and straight trucks, we are ready to deliver what you need, when you need it. To make for a fast and efficient delivery, all our trucks are equipped with lift gates and all your plants are shipped on our convenient to unload carts. Our Prefinish plants can be delivered by grower truck or can be picked up at our greenhouse. Please, check with your broker for freight rates & minimums.

Q. Can I schedule my order to be a Customer Pick Up?
A. With our 20 bay loading dock and fully staffed shipping department, we are prepared to quickly handle vehicles of all sizes. If you would like to schedule your order to be a CPU, just indicate that to your broker.
Q. Will tags come with my order?
A. All Prefinished products are shipped with variety tags already included in the pot.
Q. What if I experience any problems with my order?
A. Complete customer satisfaction is our goal. If you do experience any problems with you order, please contact your broker immediately. Quality claims must be filed with the broker and reported to Lucas within 14 days of receipt of plants. Details of the claim should include the nature of the problem. Varieties impacted, pot sizes and quantity of plants affected should also be included. Pictures of the affected material should be included and/or the sales rep should visit to verify the claim.

Q. Does Lucas Greenhouses offer finished product?
A. Yes, Lucas Greenhouses is the perfect source for high quality finished plants. We offer a full line of plants for every season, starting in the spring with many different types of hanging baskets, bedding flats, #4.5 pots and combination pots & planters. To get you through the heat of summer, we have created an excellent summer crop line. For fall, we produce beautiful asters, mums, cabbage, kale & pansies. For Christmas, we offer many sizes and varieties of poinsettias. We also offer tulips, hyacinths, daffodils & pansies for the Easter Season.

Lucas Greenhouses will be approximately 3 miles on the left. FROM THE WEST Commodore Barry Bridge to Route 322 East. Follow Route 322 East approximately 9 miles to Mullica Hill. Make a right on route 45 South. Stay straight on Route 77 South to the first fourway stop. Make a left on Route 538. At the second intersection ( a four-way stop) turn right at the light onto Whig Lane (Route 619). Lucas Greenhouses is approximately ¼ mile on the right. FROM THE NORTH Take Interstate 295 South to Exit 26 for Route 42 South to Route 55 South. Take Exit 48 (Ellis Mill road) and turn right towards Ferrell. Go approximately 1.5 miles to 2nd intersection and make a left onto Richwood Road (Route 609). Go approximately 1.5 miles to 2nd intersection and make a Right onto Whig Lane Road (Route 619). Lucas Greenhouse is approximately ¾ mile on the right. FROM THE SOUTH Take Delaware Memorial Bridge to Route 40 East to Pole Tavern Circle.
