How to Save Money on Electric Bill in the Summer

In my effort to be more fungal, I turned my attention that how to save money on electric bill in the summer. A search on the internet appeared thousands of websites with tips that can be implemented easily and with little to no cash outlay. After making a list of ways you can save energy and money around the house, I chose eight ideas that can immediately start working towards, in an effort to reduce costs for my family. Below are some tips that how to save money on electric bill in the summer as follows: 1. Use reusable Air Conditioner and Furnace Filters I hate to think how many times we postpone change the filters in heating and air conditioning systems just because we were too lazy to go buy a new filter. Turns out, they do not change the filters on a regular basic can cause these systems need to be replaced sooner. Experts recommend spending a little more forward to getting reusable filters than can be hosed off when dirty. Using permanent filters not only saves money in the long run, it also reduces your utility bill and extends the life of your HVAC unit. 2. Seal leaks and cracks Estimated to add up all the small air leaks in our homes, will be equal to the result of leaving a window open all year round. Savings can be realized by using foam or caulk around where the air tends to escape: windows, doors, the top of basement wall where cement/block contact with the wooden frame around the holes in the walls where pipes enter / leaving the house, etc. 3.
