STANDARD COLOR TONES for WOOD GLAZES and LACQUERS Glazing or covering treatment of wood and iron metals indoors and outdoors – BEECK meets virtually any design requirement. And it does with pure plant based coatings of a natural esthetic with an ecological profile being open-pored and free of artificial resins. Fine-grinded, absolutely light-fast mineral pigments ensures thin layers and a most economical job.
glossy or satin-matt. High-quality coatings are obtained when carefully preparing and pretreating the surface. Always apply oil lacquers in thin layers using a ringbrush, roller or spray gun. Ensure proper ventilation and heat while drying.
WEATHERPROOF EXTERIOR LACQUERS
Highly covering, silky stand oil lacquers are approved for centuries as long-lasting wood coatings outdoors. Unlike synthetic lacquers they do not show any tendency to crack and peel even when severely weathered. Therefore, they are especially maintenance-friendly, because they do not form excess thickness of vapour impermeable layers even after a few coating intervals. Stand oil lacquers are recommended for size-consistent components like windows, as well as framework, wood sidings and log cabins. Derust, clean and prime iron metals as described in our Technical Information Sheet. Not appropriate for galvanized steel. Like more colours? Our Lacquers Color Chart contains more than 100 attractive color tones with mixing formulations, on request also available factory-toned.
INTERIOR LACQUERS, glossy or satinmatt
WOOD GLAZEZ for indoors and outdoors
Classical fatty stand oil glazes are recommended for long-lasting, weather-resistant and absolutely light-fast wood finishes, used for windows, doors and sidings. Check for constructive wood protection and non-blueing wood quality when using exterior wood glazes free of synthetic biocides. Maintenance intervals of a few years are depending on the impact of the elements. No tendency to peel or to form vapour impermeable film thickness after repeated coating intervals. For substantial conifer wood sidings, color tone Silver Grey (24) provides a long-lasting finish virtually free of maintenance, anticipating the patina of ancient weathered wood. For interior wood refinement, satin-matt clear or tinted wood glazes are additional available. Surface and Pretreatment Before applying on new surfaces or for renovation, please always note the instructions given in the current Technical Information Sheets. For example, a blueing protection primer can be a need when using wood glazes on inferior pine-wood selections. Make samples before applying on critical surfaces like oak, tropical wood or old coatings. For any glazing or covering system shorter maintenance intervals when using color tones atypical for wood (e.g. ultrablue, sky blue) are to be considered.
Abrasion-resistant, water-proof stand oil lacquers are recommended for doors and furniture indoors. Either
