DIPINTO DI BLUE COMMERCIAL SPACE AND OFFICE GROUND FLOOR DESIGN INTENT Upon entering the Dipinto di Blu space, the focal point lands on the centrally positioned white onyx Water bar surrounded by curated Dipinto di Blu furniture designs from the latest collection. The Water bar serves only water from around the world, making it one of its kind in Sydney. Stepping further the ceiling glass river is reflected in the white onyx river below and is lined up by a feature lighting representing dripping water. Whenever the onyx river touches the bar, it changes the onyx material into metal and forms a peel-like opening in the bar representing the majestic force of water finding its way. The onyx river flows through a concrete feature wall behind the bar all the way into the back and ends in a custom-made wash basin. FIRST LEVEL DESIGN INTENT

SECTION B (NOT TO SCALE)

Upon entering the first level, the space is split in two halves by the glass river that finishes in the back in a set of split TV screens representing Venetian water pillars. One side hosts a large meeting space featuring a peel-like tinted glass wall and a think thank that is next to a kitchenette. The other half is primarily set as a workspace for the employees. The design aims to stimulate a sense of mindfulness, consonance and connection while at the same time celebrating art and sense for detail. It also features Dipinto di Blu designs from the first collection.

Tom is a sculptor and works from a studio in the neighbouring suburb. Maddie is a paediatrician that has demanding hours. Both are in mid-thirties. They have a hectic lifestyle, professionally and socially. Home for Tom and Maddie is a sanctuary from the demands of their work life. They try not to bring their work home and use their residential space for their other interests – entertaining, cooking and relaxing. From their travels they have collected a number of unique items that requires extra storage space. DESIGN CONCEPT To balance Tom & Maddie’s hectic lifestyle and provide them with a unique home sanctuary, the final design concept embraces nature within the theme Walk in the forest.
