Designed the interfaces Tested the prototype and communicated with other game designers and programmers. Leader of the game art component. 3D modeling. July 2009 – February 2010 - SONY, Taipei, Taiwan 2D/3D Artist Studied the art of the Unreal game engine. Participated as team member in the animation project of “The Bright Soul”. Researched topics for the project. Participated in SONY training Practiced 2D art and 3D modeling. July 2004 – September 2004 - Internship in XPEC, Taipei, Taiwan Tester for project of Hello Kitty: Mission Rescue(PS2/NGC/Xbox) Debugging Provided suggestions to game designers to enhance the game experience. Assisted with game designers and programmers in making final modifications

January 2005 – March 2005 - Internship in Keystone Game Studio, Taipei, Taiwan Asst. Game Designer for Project of Requiem(Xbox) Researched the relative materials for game designers and game artists. Arranged the game planning documents. Provided some sample drawings for game artists. Communicated with other testers, and modified the gameplay.

。July 2006, Funny Land, PC game. 。Position: Level Designer, Concept Artist(environment), UI Designer, 2D Animator. 。Two races live on a continent. One race is called Hyde who are very intelligent. Another is the Guli who are characterized with a very traditionally oriented culture. The King of Guli wants to obtain the technology from the Hyde. He kidnaps 10 Hyde scientists. The game avatar is going to save these

scientists and bring them back to Hyde. This game won the coveted Championship of Game Design Group in the 2006 VR Leadership Qualification Contest and the XPEC Entertainment Sponsorship Award for Game Proposal Group in the 4C Digital Creation Contest 。Software used was 3DVIA Vertools, 3D Max, Photoshop, Illustrator, Flash. Produced at the Workshop at Lunghwa University of Science and Technology.

iPhone APPLICATION

HAPPY BOOM

。February 2010, Happy Boom, iPhone Game. 。Position: Concept Artist, UI Designer, 3D Modeling. 。This game is marketed on the App Store. Touch the screen to kindle the firecrackers on the screen which then explodes the ordinance and projecting it skyward. It's the first Chinese New Year Application on iPhone in the world. This app is widely enjoyed especially during this culturally popular holiday. 。Software used was Unity3D, Maya, Photoshop, Illustrator. Produced by an adhoc team of friends in which I took the lead.

iPhone GAME

UNLUCKY MAN’S LUCK

。May 2010, Unlucky Man’s Lucky, iPhone Game. 。Position: Concept Artist, 2D Artist, UI Designer, Level Designer, Tester. 。This game is marketed at the App Store. The idea comes from an old American Western movie where the bartender opens a bottle of beer and slides it down the length of the bar to be caught by the patron at the other end. In ancient China, there is a folktale about a group transporting treasures of their Empire State to the Chinese Emperor. The group and its leader, the story’s protaganist, were overpowered by a group of bandits. The group was anniliated by the thieves but Hu Shien survived and was taken prisoner. The story details how Wu Shien managed to overserve the thieves during a drunken night of debauchery and was able to escape and report the thieves to the Emporer and thus clear himself and his dead comrades of false charges. 。Software we used was Unity3D, Maya, Photoshop, Illustrator. Produced by an adhoc team of friends including myself.

THE BRIGHT SOUL

。December 2009, Mr. The Bright Soul, Animation, 38 seconds 。Position: Story, Storyboard, Texturing, Environment Design, Environment Modeling. 。A pious priest has a mystical dark power that is in conflict with his religion and mission. Nevertheless, he must use his power to save the world. We were trying to make this animation look like a game trailer. 。Software used was Maya, Photoshop, illustrator. After Effect Workshop at SONY.

After a while, I tried to design my own characters.
