THEME We focus on the education of Chinese children, especially the ones in rural area. We want to arouse their hope for a brighter future and offer them a different way of viewing the world. We want to bring the good change to them. What you say or how you do may bring a spark to their heart, lighten their way when they step into the dark nights. They are just like white paper and we want to make it more colorful.
AIM This project targets leftover children in second or third class city, who live with their grandparents while their parents go to other big cities for jobs and will go home only in Spring Festival. These children have few opportunities to go outside which lower their horizon and make them have no idea what’s the world actually is. We want EPs will help them get to know the world outside, to realize how colorful the world is and encourage them to go outside, to struggle to be better persons in the future.

CONTENTS OF THE PROJECT PART TWO — EDUCATION The main part of the course curriculum 1) About "dream" : Let the children know except just listening to the teachers in class, we still have other ways to be knowledgeable. Make them be interested in the outside world and get the impetus to pursue their dream. 2) About English study : The skill of using English is getting more and more significant in our working career. However, a large number of children in poor condition have no foundation of English, and some of them even don't realize the importance of English learning. The English lessons given from EPs are aiming to arouse the children's enthusiasm of studying English.

By giving presentations, discussing together, to notice the difference from different culture, and expand children's horizon. What's more, everyone can get to know each other better during culture shock. 4)About value : Design special games and group work let children know the actual meaning of “love”, “help”, “cooperation” etc.

ABOUT THE CITY CHANGCHUN Changchun is located in the central part of Songliao Plain in Northeast China. As the capital of Jilin Province, it is the second largest city in Northeast China and the political, economic and cultural center of the province.

ABOUT THE CITY CHANGCHUN Food The traditional dishes in Changchun are called “North-eastern dishes”, which is one of the most famous style of dishes in China, a little bit salty but very delicious.
ABOUT THE CITY CHANGCHUN Transportation Living in Changchun is convenient to hang out. Bus : 1 or 2 yuan per time Light rail : 2 to 4 yuan per time Taxi : A little bit expensive but much cheaper than other cities in China and very convenient. Airport : Changchun Longjia International Airport is the only airport in Changchun. Train : Changchun Station & Changchun west station
WHAT WE WILL OFFER Departure We will help you to book the tickets for departure. We will provide pick-up and drop-off in the airport or train station in Changchun. Visa Support We will provide invitation letters for you. We suggest EP to apply F-visa firstly, which will last nearly 50 days. EP can apply the L-visa, lasting nearly 30 days instead when they can’t apply F-visa successfully.
WHAT WE WILL OFFER Food Cover part of the journey. Accommodation When we stay in downtown, you will stay in host family (About two weeks). you don't need to pay. There will be WIFI and hot water, we will make sure that you will have a single bed. When we stay in country, everyone will live together, at schools’ dormitories or inns nearby.

Tips Because of the cold winter, take enough and warm clothes with you. (Sweater, down jacket, thermal underwear, boots…are necessary)
