ABOUT US

LUCIO, an innovative professional lighting brand, was established in the Netherlands in June 2008 by a team of three partners. These partners brought a combined 42 years of experience in various aspects of the lighting industry, including product development, product management, production, sales, and marketing. Lucio offers products with a high design value for a competitive price. Our products are energy efficient, durable and easy to recycle. Our knowledge of the use of materials, technology, heat management and processing are brought together in a timeless shape, making our products last longer.

How did LUCIO start?

We started developing a product portfolio for the High End retail market, a segment that back in 2008, was one of the most demanding segments. The product had to comply to a design that is timeless with high end requirements for beam control. Franco Clivio, an award winning product designer, designed the Lucio portfolio for the high end retail segment. Over the years Lucio expended the portfolio covering segment like Hospitality, Healthcare, Offices, Education, Industrial, Landscaping, Façade Lighting, etc.

Light Source

LUCIO carefully selects the best option from the biggest supplier of LEDs in the world. The critical factor in this selection is the color rendering index (CRI), which measures how truthfully that light source can show the color of an illuminated objects.

Light Colors

Our portfolio offers a wide range of color options, from static white light sources to vivid colors such as red, green, blue, and white. All these solutions can be configured and supplied with the necessary control equipment.

Protection grade

The lighting fixture should meet the specific demands of the space, including protection requirements. Our portfolio offers a variety of options suitable for installations in spaces with different levels of protection from IP65 to IP68.

Finishing

A product’s color finishing can enhance the aesthetics of the space. LUCIO offers standard options such as White, Black, or Silver, with the flexibility to customize upon request.

Dimming & Control

To ensure versatility in adapting to various uses, the lighting system must facilitate proper control and dimming. LUCIO provides conventional methods such as DALI and 1-10V, as well as other technologies like KNX or CASAMBI.

Light control

Effective use of a luminaire requires careful consideration of the illuminated area. The angle of light emission plays a crucial role. LUCIO offers a diverse range of beam angles, from narrow 15º to wide 120º.

REMOTE CONTROL LIGHTING

At LUCIO we always look to offer the best lighting solutions as for quality of light but also with the most versatile and adaptable luminaires.

As one of the trends in lighting right now we offer a line of products that can be remotely controlled making them more suitable to match only layout or setup of the space in which they are installed. With the application of one of our DR100 or TS33 models the lighting installation will be closer than ever to a perfect lighting performance.

The flexibility of a space that can use different layouts is often limited by the lack of adjustability of the lighting installation. The pre-established setups fail to match the flexibility of the rooms they illuminate resulting in poor lighting.

A flexible lighting system enable the achievement of the optimal outcome for the lighting installation. By utilizing a system that also offers remote control, adjustments can be easily made, resulting in optimized power consumption and enhanced lighting comfort.

XA conventional installation always limits the usage of the room. The lighting distribution will not suit different layouts and that results in poor lighting performance.

Our downlights are designed to create a comfortable and visually appealing atmosphere that enhances the aesthetics of the space while providing optimal lighting performance.

Our downlights feature a timeless and minimalist design. They are available in various shapes and sizes, including round, square, trim, and trimless options. Each family offers a broad range of wattages, color temperatures, MacAdam steps options, optics, lenses, and accessories, such as honeycomb or softening lenses, along with a wide selection of finishes, such as matt white and black. For projects with specific requirements that are not covered by our standard offerings, we possess the capability to provide customized solutions. Our expertise allows us to modify existing products to meet optical requirements, integrate new accessories, adapt to specialized LED chip specifications, or offer non-standard product finishes.

S12 & S13

The S12 (fixed and adjustable) and S13 (eyeball design) downlights are available with cut outs of 55, 65 and 85mm. Both versions are offered with a trim or trimless, designated as R and T respectively. The adjustable version has a tilt up to 45º. The fixed version is available upon request. These downlights offer a range of wattages from 8W to 18W and color temperatures of 2700K, 3000K, and 4000K. They also provide a variety of beam angles from 15º to 36º with a default CRI of >80. For high-end applications, a higher CRI of >90 or >95 is available upon request.

The S23 are recessed luminaires with individual optical elements that provide a wide selection of beam angles between 15º, 30º or 45º. These luminaires are ideal for indoor use with IP20 protection grade and a variety of wattages from 2W to 30W, along with color temperatures of 2700K, 3000K, and 4000K. The standard models come with a CRI>80, but a CRI>90 can be obtained upon request. Additionally, the trim and reflector color can be combined with both white and black finishing options.

LUCIO’s S125 and S126 downlight families have an eyeball design and come in round and square models. These families offer a range of wattages from 7W to 20W, color temperatures of 2700K, 3000K, and 4000K, and have an IP20 protection class. Both families have a black or white finishing trim option and beam angles of 15º, 24º, 36º and 60º. The recessed models, whether round or square, can be selected with a double lighting point feature (2x7W or 2x20W). A trimless option is available for the one light point model. These products come with a standard CRI>80, but a CRI>90 is available upon request.

The DR63 family of round recessed downlights is offered in IP20 and IP54. Available in different wattages ranging from 8W to 28W, these downlights have an outer diameter ranging from 110mm to 162mm. The color temperature options for these downlights include 3000K, 4000K, and 6500K, with beam angles of 30º and 50º. The standard model has a CRI>80, while upon request, a CRI>90 is available.

The DR100 models allow a remote control of the light emission angle ranging from -35º to +35º. These models are available with beam angles of 6º, 12º, or 36º, and color temperature options include 2700K, 3000K, and 4000K. The DR100R ZCCT, adding to the control of the light emission angle, also offers the remote adjustment of color temperature (2700K to 6000K) and selection of beam angle (15º to 60º). This IP20 family of downlights comes in 12W, 20W, or 40W power variants. The standard CRI used is 80, but upon special request, a CRI>90 can be provided.

The AR15 family of linear profiles offers five installation options: recessed, trimless, surface, pendant, and a double emission direct and indirect pendant model. These models are available in 3000K or 4000K color temperatures with CRI80 or CRI90. They can be used with opal (115º) or prismatic (85º) diffusers, as well as lenses for 58º or 85º beam angles. The AR12 family offers two different versions: AR120, a 595x595 mm square model with 40 Watts, and the rectangular model AR121, available in 50 or 60 Watts with dimensions of 1195x295mm. With a wide beam angle of 120º and CRI80, it’s possible to select on-off control or between DALI and 1-10V as dimming options. The standard white finishing color is available, and special colors can be achieved upon request.

The AM8 is an adjustable IP44 mirror light. Available in 8W and 12W wattages it’s possible to adjust the light module up to 270º and the luminaire arm from -95º to +95º. With CRI80 it’s possible to select between 3000K, 4000K, and 6500K color temperatures. The housing colors available for the AM8 are white, black, or gold finishing.
