EED 425 Wk 4 - Summative Assessment: Integrated Unit Planning
Imagine that you are a general education teacher in an elementary school. Your school curriculum has introduced the new concept of integrating health and physical education with other subject areas. You are asked to introduce this concept and apply it to your classrooms in the coming weeks. As a part of this program, you have to prepare a 2-week unit that focuses on the academic area of your choice and incorporate at least 1physical education skill competency and 1 health education theme. Remember, planning a unit typically means that you are integrating related concepts from multiple subject areas to reinforce them or teach them from a different perspective.
