If there was any doubt that Fishhound Magazine is the premiere place to learn about the industry, this issue proves otherwise. I’m very pleased to present the ICAST Preview Edition showcasing some of the new products that will be featured at the ICAST trade show this month in Orlando, Florida. Some of the biggest brands in the industry will be there and we were lucky enough to get a glimpse into what they’re offering...and now, so will you. Until next time, folks! Tight Lines & Happy Angling.

ICAST is the annual trade show for the entire fishing industry. This year it takes place July 1315 in Orlando, Florida. Unless you’re a retailer, exhibitor or member of the media, you’re not getting through these doors to see what new products will be on the shelves in 2017. Fishhound Magazine reached out to 12 companies to get you a sneak peek at what they’ll be showing off. The rest of the new baits… well, you’ll just have to wait and see what they are in an upcoming Lucky Tackle Box, because that’s where many of them will be making their public debut.

BETTER FISHING TIMES USING THE SUN/MOON TO CATCH MORE FISH What are Astro tables and how does it work? Astro Tables are far more effective than “moon tables” because they take into account critical solar energies as well as lunar. PrimeTime data is based on solar/lunar research at a leading college of astrophysics and our own research pond/wildlife area. Annual data is supplied by the U.S. Naval Observatory. All lunar times are adjusted to the center of your time zone and for Daylight Saving Time.
