AV and IT Facilities are available for conferences and events at Lucy Cavendish College. Free wifi internet access is available throughout the College. Warburton Hall, with its spectacular triple-height interior with vaulted ceiling, can seat up to 140 people. Set in the middle of the beautiful gardens, the Hall offers plenty of natural daylight – and wonderful views. Its main doors lead out to the terrace and lawn making it perfect for BBQs or al fresco dining.

Reception rooms situated above Warburton Hall are very flexible making them ideal for drinks before or after dinner, private lunches or smaller-scale dinners or buffets. Offering one of the best views of the gardens they include a large balcony – perfect for taking group shots or mingling with colleagues. The rooms can be separated to create two wellequipped conference rooms.

Our Wood-Legh Room is a very spacious, versatile room with seating for up to 80 delegates. It can be divided into two with an acoustic screen and has an abundance of natural daylight with French windows opening out into the College gardens where breaks can be taken. Available for hire in conjunction with other rooms for break-out sessions.

Neighbouring the main conference room and overlooking the Anglo-Saxon herb garden, the Bulman Room is ideal as a sitting room or break-out room to serve light refreshments.

The Beryl Green Room provides the perfect location for up to 12 people (seated) - perfect for smaller, more informal meetings. Overlooking the gardens the room also serves well as a conference office.

The Wolfson Room can seat up to 40 delegates in a variety of formats. It is a light, airy room with an abundance of natural daylight delivered through a large skylight window and French doors leading onto the College gardens where breaks can be taken. This room is available for hire in conjunction with other rooms for break-out sessions.

The Oldham Hall Seminar Rooms can be split by acoustic screens into three individual rooms seating between 10 - 12 people, or used as one larger room. It offers modern meeting rooms with full internet access and the latest AV technology. It adjoins Oldham Hall Lounge and Conservatory which offer access to the College gardens. Accommodation is available on the floors above.

Weddings
Location
Everyone at Lucy Cavendish College loves a wedding; nothing is too much trouble. We treat every booking on a personal basis to make your occasion unique. Lucy Cavendish’s elegant style, beautiful gardens, peaceful surroundings and convenient central Cambridge location make us an ideal venue for your wedding day.
The upper and lower levels in Warburton Hall are an ideal setting with reception drinks in the upper Reception Rooms where guests can spill out onto the balcony and into the beautiful gardens, perfect for photographs, then downstairs to the main Hall for a delicious meal served by attentive staff. If you wish to continue the evening with dancing, it’s back upstairs where there is a dancing area and bar.
Special events As well as weddings and civil partnerships, we host special gatherings for celebrations such as anniversaries, birthdays and christenings.

Dining We place great emphasis on a high quality dining experience for all our guests and that, combined with the perfect setting that Lucy Cavendish provides, makes us the perfect choice for any special event. For an idea of our catering offer, please look at some of our tempting sample menus. We are happy to discuss alternatives with you in order to tailor a menu to your own requirements.

To complement our meeting rooms and excellent catering provision, from the end of June to the end of September we can accommodate residential conferences.
All guest rooms include bath and hand towels as well as complimentary toiletries. Tea and coffee-making facilities are provided either in the bedroom or a nearby kitchen which is equipped for guests to prepare snacks if they wish.
Guests can meet, eat and sleep in rooms close to our seminar rooms and dining hall. Guests are accommodated in lovely bedrooms either on site or in our new, purpose built student centre, 10 minutes’ walk from the main site. We have a range of en suite bedrooms, sets (two bedrooms sharing a kitchenette and bathroom) or single rooms sharing facilities in one of our historic houses.
Situated within a 5-10 minute walk of the historic city centre guests can enjoy an exciting range of local attractions including pubs and restaurants, punting, walking tours and museums making us an excellent base from which to explore the beautiful city of Cambridge.
Continental breakfast is included which is served in Warburton Hall from 8 - 9am.
