When can we do these? “The regeneration of the Meadows will not occur overnight. To ensure it is sustainable with long term community benefits it will take time to deliver. The neighbourhood plan is the foundation on which the community, council and developers will work together to ensure a lasting legacy. THIS WILL RELY ON FUNDING AND THE COMMUNITY PLAYING THEIR PART”

Further Developments.... • There’s no need to worry! • We’ve got time to plan and there’ll be lots of consultation • The local community will help the plan to be developed • All the changes will be dependent on funding • The plan will be delivered over a long period of time

How will it affect me? • All residents have the right to stay in the meadows • Individual consultation for everyone who will be affected • No need to move for turning around or refurbishment • Special consideration for elderly and vulnerable residents • Any rehousing will be carefully planned to minimise disruption

• Phased approach to rehousing to minimise temporary moves • Permanent moves will be made wherever possible • If required arrangements can be made to move out of the area • Support for owner occupiers • Relocation packages for council tenants

• Everyone’s individual needs will be considered • We may need to acquire some private property • Market value assessed by independent valuations • Affordable housing – shared equity or part rent - part buy • Individual advice and support will be available for residents • There’s already an experienced specialist team in place
