Each original is created using hand-made soft pastels. Produced by Unison Colour in Northumberland, these pastels were originally developed by artist John Hersey in the 1980s and provide the level of exquisite colour and texture which Lucy is known for, and the lightfastness of each pastel accommodates Lucy’s vivid and playful creative process. Their longevity is a promise to Lucy, and her buyers, that artworks will remain bold and beautiful over time.

Original works are framed by our trusted and experienced in-house framing team. Frames are chosen specifically for each piece to showcase the quality and character of the original.

The Dogs Collection original pieces include a black bevelled frame and museum quality glass for added protection. Museum quality glass means your original is protected, whilst also reducing any potential glare. It possesses a special coating that eliminates UV light that can cause fading. This means your picture keeps its vibrancy long-term, and the artwork will display without interference.
